Same thing happened last year. I'm sorry but I have no control over it. The elder mods opened the "CoffeeandPie" name using a different company than the one that hosts our files. And they are the ones getting the warnings and reminders.
Like last year, Ill try to hunt some people down and just try to transfer this thing to my name.
My apologies for the Carby deprivation!

I'm sorry you have to deal with the registration thing again, Pat, especially when things are busy. Thanks for looking into it.
I hope everyone reading this is well!
I put up a little note at TEEx just saying that you were working on a glitch--I hope that was OK. There are still some people who visit both perhaps.
I don't know if you got everything resolved or not, but I am not having any trouble with the site--posting or anything. However, I definitely know that others are.
I'll be there waiting patiently for all to be resolved. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I don't get it either, DDF. But when we are up again, there should be a test post from me in the Test thread.
Stormwatcher at TEEx suggested to me that the issue might be resolved but it is taking our different ISPs a different amount of time to recognize the updated registration. The board was down for me for about 5-6 hours yesterday but I was up by late afternoon.
I have no idea how this stuff works, but I am seeing the board.
Ok, the issue has been half fixed.
The reason why some of you can still see the board, is the same reason some people could still see it last year. The files are still there. What expired was not the account we have with the server that holds our files. The elder mods bought the name "coffeeandpie.com" from a different registrar. And that was what expired. The name. Not the webspace.
Some servers are faster than others at updating their DNS entries. If your ISP server hasnt refreshed, then you probably will still see the board. Its calling files that are there. If your ISP server refreshes regularly, then they already lost the path that takes them to the CnP files and keep getting this "espresso machine" crap.
Jen already renewed the account. The trick is now getting the registrar to restore the pointers from coffee and pie (the name) so that whenyo click on them they take you to coffee and pie (the files).
If that makes any sense. Don't worry if it doesnt. I'm working on it.

Hope all is well with you, Pat. Thanks for working on it. Your explanation makes sense. I actually saw the "espresso machine" stuff for 5-6 hours yesterday and then came up again. So I am doing pretty well for whatever reason. I'm sure you'll get it worked out, and I am glad you were able to get in touch with Jen.
Bless the person who invented air conditioning! I am melting today!
